Individual British-Iranian nationals Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Anoosheh Ashoori were delivered Wednesday and flew back to their homes in England.
Tahbaz, a naturalist who was first confined in January 2018, was let out of Evin jail “on leave of absence to his home in Tehran,” UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said in an explanation on Wednesday.

Tahbaz’s legal advisor let CNN know that “safety officers encompassed Morad’s home for 48 hours prior to bringing him back to jail.”

On Friday, a UK Foreign Office representative said “the Iranians have told the UK government that Morad has been taken to Evin to fit a lower leg label that ought to have been fitted before his delivery. We desire to see him got back to his home before long. Morad Tahbaz is a tri-public and we are working intimately with the United States to get Morad’s super durable delivery.”

The representative added that the US isn’t “involved with this plan, yet would join the UK in considering anything shy of Morad’s nearby leave of absence an infringement of Iran’s responsibility.”

Starting at Saturday morning, CNN can’t affirm whether Tahbaz has been rereleased from jail and back detained at home.

The US is “critically counseling” with the UK on fitting reactions and said it proceeds “to work night and day to get the arrival of our improperly confined residents, including U.S.- UK resident Morad Tahbaz.”
